Technical Safety Engineer

Location: Alkmaar, NL

Duration: 12-month contract extended to staff position.

Start Date: ASAP – notice period’s welcome.

We are delighted to be recruiting for Technical Safety Engineers for our client based in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. Operating within the O&G industry they are leading the way in energy production for the citizens of the Netherlands.

The Role:

You will be working in the HSSE Department as part of a team dedicated to improving technical safety risk.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide safety support to the wider team.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for safety cases.
  • Management of third-party contracts and studies.
  • Management and implementation of process safety KPIs.
  • HAZOP, HAZID, and Advanced safety reviews.

    • Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 5 years of experience within a process safety discipline.
  • Auditor qualification (Lead qualification preferred).
  • Incident investigation & root cause analysis specialism.
  • Experienced with the safety duties working within an Operator environment.
  • Proven experience with key Dutch legislation and regulations.
  • Fluency with Dutch language preferred.
