About the Role:
- Lead the multidisciplinary project team(s) to success by setting motivating milestones and steering the team;
- Monitoring and controlling progress of the projects from start to completion:
- Realize day-to-day project execution of our applications (sensing systems and sensors);
- Leading the project team(s), keeping planning and budget up to date and under control;
- Report on project(s) status and progress to customers and stakeholders;
- Liaise with all R&D, Operational and Commercial functions;
- Get it working! Step-in yourself and support getting the customer specific sensing hardware configured and delivered;
- Explore possibilities for commercialization of project outputs and support sales in follow-on opportunities and proposals.
Requirements
The ideal candidate thrives in the fast-paced dynamics of a small, rapidly growing company and has a passion for high-tech innovation, eager to immerse themselves in PhotonFirst’s unique technology. They hold a University (WO) or Applied Science (HBO) degree and bring at least 5 years of experience managing commercial client projects in a technological environment as a project or program manager. Strong relationship-building skills with customers and both internal and external stakeholders are essential, as is experience in managing, planning, and implementing project management standards, including WBS, IMS, scope control, budget allocation, and quality control. The candidate excels at balancing diverse interests within a multidisciplinary team, simplifying complex topics, and contributing directly to practical work when needed. Residing in the Netherlands, they are available to operate from PhotonFirst’s office in Alkmaar.
