Role Overview
As Group Business Controller – FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of ERIKS. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the ERIKS Management Board, delivering insights that drive key business decisions and long-term value creation.
This is a high-impact role with broad exposure across our European and Asian operations, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of an international industrial leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting; Lead the development and execution of ERIKS’ strategic planning, forecasting, and annual target-setting processes. Serve as a strategic financial partner to the Management Board.
- Performance & Reporting; Participate in Monthly Board Reviews (MBR), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and budget meetings across the group. Provide in-depth financial analysis and performance reporting on key KPIs. Enhance management reporting processes and deliver actionable insights using reports from the Accounting & Reporting team.
- Projects & Investments; Support corporate projects, such as Treasury or Capex initiatives. Offer decision-making support on M&A transactions, investment proposals, and post-acquisition initiatives. Collaborate with country teams to evaluate, integrate, and optimize business performance.
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking; Conduct internal and external benchmarking to evaluate market trends and the competitive landscape. Identify risks and opportunities and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to the Management Board.
- Business Partnering & Ad Hoc Support; Work cross-functionally with finance colleagues to build insightful KPIs and support data-driven decision-making. Deliver high-quality ad hoc analysis on topics such as working capital, Opex trends, and country-specific financial deep-dives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a business, economics, or quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in a finance role within a dynamic and international environment (experience in a Group or PE-backed structure is a plus).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, conversational Dutch proficiency required; additional languages such as German and/or French are a plus.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatic mindset.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement and a collaborative team spirit.
