Empathic and Talented Art Director / Graphic designer / Brand Designer.
EPG is both a studio and a platform for narrative design, spatial storytelling and destination development. Our core is strong but lean. We’re a powerful, highly integrated network, with decades of collaborative experience. This is the foundation that empowers us to deliver the ambitious and award winning but also small and beautiful projects till now.
Spatial storytelling is converting a theme into a spatial form, an expression or engagement. It means considering all the senses to immerse a visitor into that story. And create a memorable experience. Sometimes the end result is an exhibition, a museum, a visitor journey but it might also be a media-installation, an interactive exhibit, an interior design or all of these together in an Expo-pavilion.
Our creative base is in the beautiful, old city of Alkmaar (Amsterdam area). We gather here for meetings, brainstorming and kickoffs, with some team members joining from as far away as London, Milan and Riyadh.
Graphic Design
For a luxury Chocolate client of ours we are looking for an Art Director / Brand Designer / Graphic Designer. You will help build on the brand identity, and follow through on the graphic expressions of the Brand, in visual identity, branding through to packaging but also the graphic design inside the retail and brand experience centers.
For suitable candidate the role and work will also include the World Expo, exhibition and visitor experience work EPG does.
Profile
We are a team and therefor look for likeminded persons that are not afraid to speak their mind, to be communicative, sensitive and empathic. We expect you to think on Academic level but you don’t need the paper to back it up. Preferably experienced in the world of World Expo, [museum] Exhibitions and Brand / ID development. You need to love all things storytelling, and how stories might manifest themselves spatially. You will be key in transforming spatial concepts into a visual spectacle and wonderland, in collaboration with our spatial designers and architects.
Working with international team members means that we rely heavily on remote work, with moments of coming together in Alkmaar for creative sessions and workshops when needed. This role requires you to live in the Netherlands to be able to have in-person meetings when needed.
Contract form
Contract or Freelance, hours per week to be discussed. Competitive salaries, related to profile and experience.
