An innovative equipment manufacturer in the agricultural sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This company is at the forefront of developing advanced machinery and installations that play a crucial role in agricultural production globally. As part of our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-tech agricultural equipment both domestically and internationally. This role involves direct interaction with customers, ensuring optimal operation of machinery, and conducting comprehensive training for end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and maintenance of agricultural equipment at customer sites, both in the Netherlands and internationally.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site.
- Conducting acceptance testing and commissioning projects, ranging from straightforward setups to complex system integrations.
- Facilitating smooth handovers to end-users, including operational training.
- Participating in final acceptance testing, when applicable.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with PLC technology and relevant certifications are a plus.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
- Proficiency in English.
